Since June 1, 2014, the Agreement between the governments of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Turkey on mutual abolition of visas for tourism purposes has entered into force. This means that Belarusian citizens will be able to stay in the territory of the Republic of Turkey for tourism purposes for up to 30 days without obtaining a visa. This refers to a 30-day period from the date of entry. Within one year, it will be possible to enter the Republic of Turkey for tourism purposes without a visa multiple times, but the total period of such stay should not exceed 90 days.
The visa-free regime will not apply to trips for work purposes (except for passenger and cargo transportation), study, scientific activities, family reunification and residence. Citizens of the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Belarus will be able to travel without visas if they are leaving for business negotiations.
