    How to get a visa to Turkey. What documents are needed for the application

    Since June 1, 2014, the Agreement between the governments of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Turkey on mutual abolition of visas for tourism purposes has entered into force. This means that Belarusian citizens will be able to stay in the territory of the Republic of Turkey for tourism purposes for up to 30 days without obtaining a visa. This refers to a 30-day period from the date of entry. Within one year, it will be possible to enter the Republic of Turkey for tourism purposes without a visa multiple times, but the total period of such stay should not exceed 90 days.

    The visa-free regime will not apply to trips for work purposes (except for passenger and cargo transportation), study, scientific activities, family reunification and residence. Citizens of the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Belarus will be able to travel without visas if they are leaving for business negotiations.

    Work visa application:

    The process of obtaining a work visa takes from 1.5 to 3 months, as official permission from the Turkish authorities for this type of visa is required. The package of documents for obtaining a work visa is listed below:

    1. A letter on the employer's letterhead addressed to the embassy stating in what capacity you have been decided to be employed
    2. An employment contract in Turkish and Russian, indicating the position of the signatory and with original signatures and seals
    3. Diploma with apostille, translated into Turkish and notarized
    4. Certificate of no criminal record
    5. Passport
    6. 1 photo for documents

    If necessary to obtain this type of visa, you should first consult with the consular department of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in the Republic of Belarus.
