    With a "Schengen visa," you must first enter the country that issued the visa, and only after that, you can travel within the "Schengen area."

    Currently, the Republic of Belarus has a simplified visa regime with 21 countries.

    In some countries, such as Turkey and Egypt, visas for holders of regular passports are issued directly at the airports.

    Mutual visa-free travel for diplomatic and service passports is carried out by citizens of Belarus with Argentina, Brazil, China, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, Vietnam, India, Iran, Turkmenistan, and Turkey.

    True visa-free countries.

    These are countries that require only a passport and sometimes a return ticket for travel. These include:

    EUROPE: Northern Cyprus* (for 30 days), Moldova* (for 90 days), Russia, Serbia (for 30 days), Ukraine.

    ASIA: Azerbaijan (for 90 days), Armenia, Georgia* (for 90 days), Iraqi Kurdistan (for 10 days), Kazakhstan**, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia (30 days in Malacca and 30 days in Borneo; return tickets are required), Mongolia (for 90 days), Singapore (72-hour transit, with a ticket to a third country), Tajikistan**, Uzbekistan**.

    AFRICA: Namibia (for 90 days, a return ticket is required).

    NORTH AMERICA: Haiti (for 90 days, return tickets are required), Honduras, Cuba*** (for 30 days), Nicaragua (for 30 days).

    SOUTH AMERICA: Venezuela*** (for 90 days), Peru (for 90 days), Ecuador (for 90 days).

    OCEANIA: Micronesia (for 30 days, and the count of days starts anew with the transition to a new island group), Western Samoa (for 60 days, return tickets are required).

    * Please note:

    • entry to Georgia is not allowed if the passport has border stamps from Russian checkpoints with Abkhazia and South Ossetia, so it is necessary to obtain those stamps on a separate sheet of paper, not in the passport;
    • Georgian border guards are not always aware of the current situation, and therefore may require a visa from Belarusians. In such cases, it is necessary to demand that they check with their Foreign Ministry – citizens of the Republic of Belarus do not need a visa to Georgia!

    The same applies to Northern Cyprus – a stamp on a separate sheet of paper will save you from possible problems with Greek and Southern Cypriot visas.

    ** In Central Asian republics, you will need temporary registration in the country. In Kazakhstan, it is required when staying in the country for more than 5 calendar days, in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan – more than 3 working days. Registration can be obtained either at the hotel (free of charge) or at the local OVIR (very difficult).

    In Moldova, registration is required, but it is set automatically when crossing the border with Ukraine and Romania. It is necessary to take into account that when entering through Transnistria, Moldovan checkpoints are absent, and therefore it is necessary to register with the OVIR within 72 hours after arriving in Moldova.

    *** If a plane heading to Cuba or Venezuela makes a stopover in a visa country (for example, in the EU), then a transit visa of that country is required.

    Calls and written inquiries are temporarily not accepted.
