2016 - 2018 y. The project "Containing the HIV epidemic and reducing morbidity and mortality from HIV in Belarus"

The project was implemented within the framework of a grant from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in collaboration with the State Institution "Republican Research and Practical Center for Medical Technologies, Informatization, Management and Healthcare Economics" (RRPC MT) and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.

The project "Organization and conduct of joint events on the problem of human trafficking with the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus in the Brest region" was implemented in 2017 with the financial support of the Small Grants Program of the US Embassy in the Republic of Belarus.

The project was implemented within the framework of a grant from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, executed by the United Nations Development Programme in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.

On December 23, 2014, in a warm and friendly atmosphere, the results of the initiative "Theater Technologies in Combating Human Trafficking" were summarized. Through their events, volunteers reached 909 young people.

2014 y. May 23-26, 2013, training course for volunteers of the Elpis club

From May 23 to May 26, 2013, volunteers from the Elpis club, as well as newcomers wishing to join our volunteer club, had the opportunity to participate in two training sessions within the framework of the project "Prevention of human trafficking with a gender perspective among students in Brest."

2014 y. December 16, 2014 Forum-theater "In the Web of the Internet"

On December 16, 2014, the "theatrical season" of the Elpis volunteer club came to an end. The last forum-theater "In the Web of the Internet" was held at the hostel No. 3 of the educational institution "Brest State Technical University". Our volunteers like to hold events at this educational institution because students, as a rule, show genuine interest in the issues raised by the volunteers. And this time was no exception. The volunteers express special gratitude to the students of the educational institution "Brest State Technical University" for their active participation!!!

2014 y. December 1, 2014 pantomime action "I care, don't you?"

On December 1, 2014, on World AIDS Prevention Day, volunteers from the Elpis club held a pantomime action called "I care, and you?" in dormitory No. 4 of the educational institution "BrSU named after A.S. Pushkin". The aim of the action was to draw students' attention to the problem of HIV infection and show its relevance. The volunteers performed as silent mimes with posters reflecting current information. The volunteers also drew attention to the gender aspect of the problem, trying to convey to the students that both boys and girls are equally responsible for their own health and the health of their partner.

2014 y. November 21, 2014 Forum-theater "Two sides of abroad"

On November 21, 2014, volunteers from the Elpis club held a forum-theater "In the Web of the Internet" with a photo exhibition "Two Sides of Abroad" at the BrGPL of Builders. Thanks to the fact that volunteers operate on the principle of "equal teaches equal," the participants were able to relax, get into their roles, and suggest ways out of even the most seemingly hopeless situations.

2014 y. October 25, 2014 Forum-theater "In the Web of the Internet"

On October 25, 2014, volunteers from the Elpis club held another forum-theater "In the Web of the Internet" at the Brest State Technological College of Instrument Making. Various options for getting out of the current situation were proposed by the participants. Particular attention was paid to playing out the situation of a dignified refusal. During the actor replacements and discussions, the moderator provided information about the rules for safe travel and stay abroad.

2014 y. October 18, 2014 The Forum-theater "In the Web of the Internet"

On October 18, 2014, in the dormitory No. 4 of the Educational Institution "BrSU named after A.S. Pushkin", volunteers from the "Elpis" club made their debut with the forum theater "In the Web of the Internet". The volunteers performed a short play consisting of five scenes with a tragic ending. The main task of the audience was to prevent such a tragedy from happening in the future. To do this, in each scene, they could replace one of the actors and replay the scene in their own way. Participants enjoyed getting involved in the process of playing out the scenes, and the presenters consistently provided reliable information about the rules for safe travel and stay abroad.

As part of the initiative "Theater Technologies in Combating Human Trafficking," volunteers from the Elpis club launched an advertisement in five educational institutions in Brest: "This fall and winter, the Elpis volunteer club will come to you!"

2014 y. May 21-22, 2014 "Forum-theater" Technique

On May 21-22, a training seminar for volunteers of the "Elpis" club titled "The 'Forum-theater' technology as a tool for expanding resources in the field of social issues" was held at the hostel No. 4 of the educational institution "Brest State University named after A.S. Pushkin". This event was organized as part of the IOM initiative "Theater technologies in combating human trafficking". The seminar was led by Pavel Vinogradov.

2013 y. December 26, 2013 "Crocodile" abroad

On December 26, the Volunteer Club organized an unusual mini-event called "Crocodile Abroad" for students of the G. Shyrma Music College at the Disco Club (City Park of Culture and Leisure named after May 1st). The mini-event was held as part of the project "Countering Human Trafficking with Gender Aspects among Students in Brest" by the NGO "Club of Business Women". The aim of the event was to raise awareness among young people about the problem of human trafficking and to develop the correct algorithm of actions when traveling abroad.

2013 y. December 4, 2013 Mini-action "The Islands"

On December 4, volunteers from the Elpis club held the "Islands" event for students of the educational institution "Brest State Regional School of the Olympic Reserve". The goal of the event was to reinforce the knowledge gained during the work at the institution in the form of an interactive game.

   Often, when traveling abroad (for tourism and recreation, work, study, etc.), many people prefer to believe in the best, that nothing can happen to them, and they enjoy the upcoming trip and new experiences. Completely forgetting about the possible danger, people boldly "fortune-tell on their destinies"...

   The photo exhibition "Two Sides of the Border" was held on October 18, 2013, on the European Day against Human Trafficking in the lobby of the main building of the Brest State Technical University. This was the second photo exhibition within the framework of the project "Prevention of Human Trafficking with a Gender Perspective among Students in Brest" by the NGO "Club of Business Women".
