Belavia will continue to operate flights to Dubai

    16.06.2025
Belavia will continue to operate flights to Dubai, BelTA learned from the airline's press service.

Against the background of news about the cancellation of flights by foreign airlines to the UAE and back, Belavia assures passengers that it intends to maintain its obligations to operate flights. "We are doing everything possible to ensure that the planned rest of the passengers takes place and they all return home safely, and most importantly, safely. In order to ensure the flights, the airline adjusted the route from Minsk to Dubai and back. Belavia planes fly around territories that are potentially dangerous for civil aviation. At the same time, the aircraft make a technical stop in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) for refueling," the press service explained.

The decision involves financial losses for the airline, but it will not affect the cost of tickets, the airline stressed. Belavia continues to operate flights to the Emirates, albeit with additional costs, but without additional monetary fees. This is a responsible attitude to our passengers and, above all, to our people," said CEO Igor Cherginets.

The route adjustment resulted in an increase in flight time, as well as schedule changes, which passengers and travel operators were notified about.

The Minsk - Dubai - Minsk flight is operated on Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The average travel time, including technical boarding and refueling, will be 9 hours and 30 minutes.

The next flight will take place on Tuesday, June 17th. Departure from Minsk, as before, is scheduled for 04.25. Departure from Dubai has been postponed to 16.10 (local time). There are currently 179 passengers on the flight from Minsk to Dubai (as of June 17). From Dubai to Minsk, the load is 100% - 189 passengers.

"We are constantly monitoring the situation in the region and choosing the best flight route in order to comply with all necessary safety measures when transporting passengers," Belavia assured.
