    The CPC explained what new restrictions Lithuania is introducing at the border from August 16.

    The ban applies to passenger cars regardless of the nationality of the owner or driver.

       Since August 16, entry into Lithuania has been prohibited for all cars registered in Belarus. This was reported to BelTA by the State Border Committee.

       The ban applies to passenger cars regardless of the nationality of the owner or driver. SCC: all Belarusian cars must leave Lithuania by January 18, 2025. SCC: about 1.1 thousand cars are awaiting entry into the European Union from Belarus. "The restriction imposed on July 18 on entry into Lithuania of passenger vehicles registered in Belarus did not apply to vehicles not intended for sale or owned by Belarusian citizens. who have a valid visa or a temporary/permanent residence permit in the EU countries," the border agency clarified.
