Free medical care even for tourists. Exotic destinations where Belarusians can travel without a visa.

    24.01.2024
If you're tired of the winter landscapes outside your window and really want to change your surroundings for a while, let's try going on a long journey. Which exotic countries can Belarusians visit without a visa and what surprises these states hold — in the material from a correspondent of the Minsk-News agency.

       Argentina

Magnificent lakes, glaciers, waterfalls, mountain plateaus... This is an incomplete list of unique natural attractions that are worth visiting in a country located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean and which gave the world famous football players Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi. Numerous tourists come here to see Magellanic penguins and southern whales, taste local wine and learn to move gracefully in the rhythm of tango. It's good to know that in case of illness, visitors, along with local residents, can count on free medical care. And such a rule, you must admit, does not exist everywhere.

Belarusians are allowed to enjoy the local hospitality without a visa for 90 days a year.

       Vietnam

Do you like to relax on the seashore? You're in luck. Vietnam has more than 3 thousand kilometers of beaches. Mostly these are areas with free entry. Also in this country, you can see the largest cave on our planet. The natural wonder is called Son Doong. Hard to believe, but scientists officially discovered the huge cave relatively recently — in 2009.

Another curious fact (those born in the USSR can sigh sentimentally): in Vietnam, schoolchildren wear red pioneer scarves.

As for Belarusian citizens, they can be in this country without special entry permission for 45 days. However, this condition will soon change. In December last year, our republic and Vietnam reached an agreement on mutual visa-free travel.

       Cuba

Do you prefer crocodile meat and rum for breakfast? Then the Isle of Liberty is the place for you. But seriously, a trip to Cuba is a real exotic experience, not only from a gastronomic point of view. There's plenty to see and taste here. You can find Che Guevara's mausoleum and Ernest Hemingway's house museum, La Real Fuerza fortress and the Capitol. Under the dome of the latter, by the way, there is the zero kilometer mark of Cuba. Until 1973, this reference point was adorned with a real 25-carat diamond that once belonged to Russian Emperor Nicholas II. However, half a century ago, the jewel was sent for safekeeping to the Central Bank. Apparently, to avoid tempting visitors.

Belarusians can stay in Cuba without a visa for 30 days.

       China

The Middle Kingdom is truly another universe. Everything is unusual and sometimes surprising for a guest from the Blue-Eyed Land: from the local cuisine to the crowds at the local airport. What should a tourist see? Let's list just the most iconic places. These are the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Great Wall of China, the archaeological sensation of the 20th century called the "Terracotta Army", Shaolin Temple, the Gobi Desert... You can also observe pandas at the Chengdu Nature Reserve and take atmospheric photos against the backdrop of the rice terraces of Xinjiacheng.

Citizens of our country are allowed to stay in China for up to 30 days per trip without a visa. And during a calendar year (for several visits) – up to 90 days.

       Ecuador

Not every tourist would dare to make a journey to the center of the Earth. But why not? Let's go to the country that is crossed by the equator line. Actually, the state got its name because of this circumstance. Just tell a taxi driver in the capital of Ecuador the magic phrase "Mitad del Mundo" ("Center of the World") – and voila: your goal is achieved. You definitely won't miss the official place where the equator passes: it's a 30-meter colorful monument.

The local nature has special attractions for guests. You can admire waterfalls, lakes, and volcanoes. The pearl of this area is the Galapagos Archipelago. It's a paradise for experienced divers and surfers.

Important: Belarusians can stay in Ecuador without a visa for up to 30 days.

       For reference

You can now reach China by direct flight from Minsk National Airport. To the rest of the regions mentioned in the material, you can only get by plane with transfers.
