The rules for submitting documents for a Polish Schengen visa have changed
In Belarus, the rules for submitting documents to Polish missions for obtaining a Schengen visa have changed. The information was published on the website of the visa centers.
In particular, it is reported that starting from October 2, 2023, the procedure for submitting documents for a Polish Schengen visa will be changed for Belarusians. Submission of documents for a visa will be possible only at the place of registration. That is, if before that Belarusians could submit documents for a visa at any Polish visa center, now this will be impossible.
Now in the visa centers of Minsk, Mogilev and Gomel, only Belarusians registered in the Minsk, Mogilev, Gomel and Vitebsk regions will be able to apply for Schengen. And Belarusians registered in the Brest region will be able to submit documents for a visa only at the visa centers in Brest, Baranovichi and Pinsk.
And only the visa centers in Grodno and Lida, as before, will accept documents for a Polish Schengen visa regardless of the place of registration of the applicant.
It is also said that holders of biometric passports will have to provide a document that confirms registration at the place of residence in a certain region of Belarus.
The changes come into force on October 2.
At the same time, not so long ago, Poland resumed accepting documents for tourist visas for Belarusians.
