GPK: Lithuania has left only four checkpoints on the border with Belarus

Lithuania has left only four checkpoints on the border with Belarus. This was reported to BelTA by the State Border Committee.
From 00:00 on August 18, Lithuania closes two checkpoints - "Shumskas" (adjacent "Losha") and "Tvyaryachus" (adjacent "Vidzy"). Thus, four border crossings continue to operate on the Belarusian-Lithuanian border for the passage of cars and trucks: Lavorishkes (adjacent Kotlovka), Myadininkai (adjacent Kamenny Log), Shalchininkai (adjacent Benyakoni) and Raygardas (adjacent Privalka).
In all the above-mentioned Belarusian checkpoints, it is possible to purchase insurance policies and exchange currency. In addition to motor transport, it is allowed to cross the border by bicycle. Walking is prohibited.
One checkpoint has been opened for cars on the border with Poland - Terespol (adjacent Brest). There is also one checkpoint for trucks - "Kukuryki" (adjacent to "Kozlovichi").
There are two checkpoints on the border with Latvia, through which cars, trucks and bicycles can travel: "Paternieki" (adjacent to "Grigorovshchyna") and "Silene" (adjacent to "Urbany").
