The Baranovichi bus depot has launched a new route from Minsk to Warsaw.
Starting from August 3, 2023, the Baranovichi Bus Depot has opened a new route from Minsk to Warsaw. The details were announced by Oleg Mazur, head of the economics, finance, and transportation department of the JSC, BelTA reported.
It is said that the bus will depart from the Minsk bus station with stops in Baranovichi, as well as in Kobrin and Brest. And arrive at the Warsaw Zachodnia bus station. It is noted that passenger transportation was organized together with the Polish partner of the Baranovichi depot, Trassa 77.
— We analyzed the profitability of such flights by other carriers and came to the conclusion that they are in high demand, — Mazur noted.
According to him, for this reason, it was decided to open a new route with a Polish company. It is noted that the specified flight will be operated 5 times a week. We are talking about Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. The bus will depart from Minsk at 2.30, from Baranovichi — at 4.40, and from Brest — at 7.50. The bus will arrive in Warsaw, excluding force majeure situations, at 12.25. The return flight will be performed at 10 a.m. local time.
Mazur drew attention to the fact that almost all tickets for the first and second flights have already been sold, saying that in order to meet the demand, they plan to launch buses with a capacity of 47 to 55 seats on the route. In addition, there are discounts. Thus, children under 12 years of age are provided with a 50% discount on the full fare. Citizens under 26 years of age, students studying at universities on a full-time basis, and passengers over 60 years of age will receive a 10% discount on the full fare. This discount also applies to groups of 10 or more people.
