Spain
You have to submit documents for a Spanish Schengen visa in Moscow. You can go on your own or pay extra to a visa company for transfer to and from the Russian capital. The passport will be delivered to Minsk in about two weeks. The Spanish consulate does not require official confirmation of hotel bookings. The chance of getting a multiple-entry visa for this country is high. You can submit documents at the end of February.
Croatia
Since the beginning of the year, Croatia has started issuing tourist visas. Registration for submission is currently being held for March-April.
— Of those whose passports have already been returned, just a few people became lucky ones with a multiple-entry Schengen visa. It should be noted that people had very good visa history before this, — explained in one of the visa centers in Minsk.
In order not to get a refusal, official confirmation of hotel and transfer bookings is required, and for this you will have to make a prepayment — sometimes the entire amount for accommodation and tickets.
Greece
The situation with the Greek Schengen visa has not changed since last year. The likelihood of getting a multiple-entry visa is still low, and the need for official confirmation of bookings has not disappeared. The only good news is that submitting documents takes place in Minsk. You will have to wait about two weeks for your passport.
Germany
A person who wants to get a Schengen visa in their passport has two options: either present an officially confirmed hotel booking for the duration of the trip, or show an invitation document to Germany. Whatever you choose, there will be a nuance when submitting.
— Since everything happens at the consulate itself, you will have to go through a short interview, — said visa agent Ekaterina. — They usually ask about the purpose of the visit, and based on your answer, the dialogue continues. Many people say they are coming to see local attractions. However, after the question: «What do you want to see?» they get lost. We strongly recommend thinking through all your activities in the country, regardless of the purpose of your visit.
The queue for a German Schengen visa is long, so you will have to wait until at least May, but your passport will be returned to you a week later.
What about money?
If in 2022, 800–900 euros in the bank account was enough, now it is recommended to have at least 1,000–1,200. The catch is that the account must be active, meaning money not only has to come in but also go out at least occasionally. You need to get a statement of account movements for the last three months from the bank about a week before submitting your visa documents.
The consular fee is 35 euros. The visa fee varies from 20 to 35 euros depending on the country. When submitting documents at the German consulate, the latter is not paid.
