Latvia has terminated the agreement with Belarus on mutual trips

The conditions of stay of Latvians and their departure from Belarus to Latvia have changed.
The Latvian authorities have terminated the agreement with Belarus on mutual trips, the Department of Citizenship and Migration of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Brest Regional Executive Committee reported.
In particular, at the initiative of the Latvian side, the agreement between Belarus and Latvia on mutual travel of citizens, which was concluded in 2008, is terminated.
In this regard, Latvian citizens (stateless persons residing in Latvia, persons with the status of a non-citizen of Latvia) will be able to stay in Belarus for 10 days without registration. And the period of stay in Belarus of non-citizens and stateless persons permanently residing in Latvia will be limited to 90 days during a calendar year.
- To leave Belarus, stateless persons permanently residing in Latvia and persons who have the status of a non-citizen of Latvia and have return documents issued by the competent authority will have to apply for an exit visa, - the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs added.
These changes will take effect on September 21, 2023.
Meanwhile, Zelensky promised that there would be no third world war, which Lukashenko is sure of.
