In Polish visa centers, new rules for scheduling a visa appointment — what will change

    23.11.2022
Now, when submitting documents for a visa, Belarusians over 18 years of age must undergo mandatory verification through the interbank identification system.

Starting next week, new rules for submitting documents for a visa will be in effect at Polish visa centers — only citizens who have passed mandatory verification in the Belarusian interbank identification system will be able to book an appointment.

According to the website of the Polish VC, the new rules for submitting documents will be in effect from November 28. The main innovation is that only verified users who confirm their identity using a special code from the interbank identification system (IBIS) will be able to make an appointment at the Polish Visa Center. This requirement applies only to adult Belarusians.

       How to pass verification?

Verification is an online identification using a personal identification number in IBIS. You will need to confirm your identity on the Visa Center website on the "Appointment for Submission" page. There will be a link to the IBIS website. You will also be able to receive an IBIS verification code there, which is valid for 1 hour.

This code from the IBIS system and the confirmed identification code will need to be entered when filling out the fields during the appointment for document submission.

The Polish VC recommends checking the accuracy of personal data in IBIS in advance. If a message appears when submitting documents that the data is incorrect, the applicant is advised to inform their servicing bank and then start the verification process again. A user will be able to go through the verification process no more than 10 times, after which the system will temporarily block them.

How to submit documents for minors?

Citizens of other countries, persons over 60 years of age, and representatives of minor Belarusians can submit an application for registration by email of the visa center. At the same time, applications must be sent from a personal email address, and for minors — from the parent's personal email address.

The visa center will verify the data

On the day of submitting documents, at the Polish Visa Center, the client's record, who sent the application according to the new rules, will be checked by comparing the identification number specified during registration with the one indicated in the original passport. If they do not match, the documents may not be accepted.

If there are several applicants in the application, then it will be necessary to show documents confirming the family relationship. If discrepancies are found, the employees of the VC will also have a reason to refuse to accept the documents.
