    Can a Belarusian travel to Turkey for more than 30 days?

    29.09.2022
       They say about Turkey that it is "the most European country in Asia and the most Asian country in Europe". And it's true. Once opened as a tourist destination, the country is now developing rapidly and attracts not only as a place to relax, but also for longer trips and travels. Today we will look at whether a Belarusian can go to Turkey and stay there for more than 30 days.

       If you want to enter Turkey as a tourist under the visa-free regime and stay there for more than 30 days, you need to obtain a special permit. Such a permit can be obtained directly in Turkey: once a year, tourists can apply to the Department of Alien Affairs and obtain temporary residence permits by submitting the following documents:

       - completed application form;

       - individual taxpayer number;

       - four biometric photographs;

       - original and notarized copy of the passport;

       - income statement or bank account statement;

       - health insurance;

       - notarized rental agreement or certificate of ownership of real estate (TAPU).

       This is an approximate list, keep in mind that in each individual case, additional documents may be requested. However, there is an opportunity to submit an application and obtain permission for a longer stay.

       Important! We provide general information about the possibility of extending the period of visa-free stay in Turkey. Whether your case is suitable for obtaining a special permit must be clarified with the migration service exclusively in Turkey.

       Information regarding departure to Turkey from Minsk can be obtained by contacting the BELAVIA airline.
