Pinsk City Public Association "Business Women's Club 'South-West'"

The Pinsk City Public Association "Business Women's Club 'Southwest'" (PCPABA BWC 'Southwest') was registered by the Department of Justice of the Brest Regional Executive Committee on November 26, 2004 (certificate No. 01-0162) and unites 17 permanent members representing the socially active segment of society.

Purpose of activity: to unite professional women from various fields of activity based on common interests for the joint realization of civil, economic, social and cultural human rights in accordance with state policy.

Main objectives of PCPABA BWC 'Southwest':

• providing information and legal assistance and psychological support to women and girls in solving life problems (family, everyday life, health, education, career);
• creating conditions conducive to the personal realization of women in public life;
• assisting authorities in the implementation of state programs for the upbringing and career guidance of young people, supporting families, protecting physical and mental health, and strengthening morality.

The goals and objectives defined by the charter, PCPABA BWC 'Southwest' implements in various areas of activity, including in the field of combating human trafficking through preventive measures:

• holding seminars, meetings, round tables with representatives of authorities, state and law enforcement organizations of Pinsk, Ivanovsky, Luninetsky, Pinsky and Stolin districts on youth employment issues and the implementation of comprehensive measures to combat human trafficking and prostitution;
• dissemination in the periodical press, local television and radio broadcasting of materials on issues of human trafficking and activities of PCPABA BWC 'Southwest';
• conducting lecture courses, conversations, trainings and other events in youth audiences (educational institutions, employment centers, hostels, rural discos, venues of city mass celebrations, etc.) on issues of human trafficking and safe travel abroad;
• production and distribution of printed materials, selection of handouts on issues of human trafficking and safe travel abroad;
• working with representatives of risk groups, conducting economic trainings to strengthen economic opportunities, teaching methods of self-presentation in the labor market, safe employment and developing skills of self-presentation and communication during internships in state and private enterprises;
• conducting master classes for social educators and psychologists of secondary schools in Pinsk and districts;
• reintegration assistance to victims of human trafficking (legal, medical, psychological, social support, assistance in finding housing, organization of vocational education and employment).
• involving trafficking victims in volunteer activities.

Main target groups and geography of activities: schoolchildren, students, university students and unemployed people from Pinsk, Ivanovsky, Luninetsky, Pinsky and Stolin districts.
