Legalization of stay in the Republic of Belarus
Foreign citizens and stateless persons (hereinafter referred to as foreigners) can in the Republic of Belarus:
- temporarily stay (a foreigner temporarily staying in the Republic of Belarus is a person who has arrived for a period of no more than 90 days in a calendar year from the date of first entry on the basis of a visa or in a manner that does not require obtaining a visa, and does not have permission to temporary or permanent residence in the Republic of Belarus);
- temporarily reside (a foreigner temporarily residing in the Republic of Belarus is a person who has received permission to temporary residence in the established manner);
- permanently reside (a foreigner permanently residing in the Republic of Belarus is a person who has received permission to permanent residence in the established manner; the document confirming receipt of such permission is a residence permit).
