Rules for obtaining a work visa for Belarusians
How to prepare for going to work abroad.
In order to legally get a job abroad, you need to obtain a work visa. Having a work visa is the basis for legal employment abroad, staying and living in the destination country. It is a guarantee of safety and reliability.
A work visa is a national visa, not a Schengen visa. With such a visa, you can stay in any other Schengen country for up to 90 days in a six-month period, in addition to the destination country.

If you have a previously issued Schengen visa that has not expired, there is no need to cancel it. Apply for a work visa.
To obtain a national work visa, you need to submit documents in the territory of the Republic of Belarus to the visa center of the country where you plan to go to work. If there is no visa center of this country, then the documents are submitted to the Consular Department of the embassy.
Basic documents for obtaining a work visa:
- passport;
- photo;
- health insurance;
- job invitation.
