Belarusians can now get a Thai visa right at the airport in Thailand. How does it work?
Since July 15, Belarusians no longer need to apply for a Thai tourist visa through consulates or embassies. The Thai authorities have provided Belarusians and citizens of 30 other countries with the opportunity to obtain a visa upon arrival in the country, hoping to attract more tourists this way.

What do you need to get a single-entry tourist visa right at the airport in Thailand?
1) When you arrive in Thailand, you will need to fill out a special form at the immigration service (
this is what the application form looks like). You must have a recent photograph measuring 4x6 cm and a passport valid for at least 30 days.
2) With this visa, you will be allowed to visit Thailand only for tourism purposes. In addition, you cannot get a visa if you are transiting through Thailand. You must have round-trip tickets and proof of accommodation in Thailand, such as a hotel reservation.
3) You must have at least 10,000 baht (~ 900 Belarusian rubles) if you are coming to Thailand alone, or 20,000 baht (~ 1,800 Belarusian rubles) if you are coming with your family.
This visa costs 2,000 baht (~ 180 Belarusian rubles), and you can stay in Thailand for a maximum of 15 days with it. The visa must be paid for in Thai baht. The visa cannot be extended (in exceptional cases, you may be allowed to stay, for example, in case of serious illness).
