How to Travel Abroad Safely
When we talk about safe travel abroad, we mean all possible reasons for traveling: employment, tourism, marriage, business trips, study, sports competitions, participation in cultural and other social events, meeting relatives or acquaintances living in another country, and medical treatment.
The most important thing in the security system abroad is the legality of a person's stay in that country! Ensuring and complying with the visa regime is what constitutes legality of stay. There are countries with visa-free entry, there are countries where visas are issued when crossing the border, but most countries require entry with visas obtained in advance. Visas must correspond to the purpose of stay: work visa, tourist visa, fiancée visa, etc. Otherwise, it may result in deportation. It is also important to comply with the period of stay specified in the visa.
The second element of security is having health insurance. No matter how well a person feels, no one can predict what might happen to them at any moment. Also, a health insurance policy is a mandatory document for obtaining a visa. Be sure to collect the necessary medications and take them with you in a mini-first aid kit.

The third and no less important element is mandatory registration with local authorities at the place of residence, observing the registration deadlines. In some countries, this can be done electronically, but everywhere it can be done in person. This will be compliance with the visa regime.
And to further protect yourself and not become a victim of human trafficking, remember and do:
- Copies of documents. Make 2 or more copies of the documents you take with you abroad. Leave one copy with your family and friends at home. Take the rest with you and give and show them where you are offered to give this document to anyone (except border guards at border control and the medical registrar at the local hospital) in their hands.
- A "secret word" or phrase like: "How is our cat Musya?", even if you never had any cat. This is important when a person is forced to say under duress that everything is fine with them, they have not disappeared.
It is possible and necessary to travel abroad safely if you follow these simple and unobtrusive rules!
