    What does the status of additional protection provide in Belarus, and who can receive such protection?

    Today we will discuss the important issue of granting the status of additional protection in Belarus, to whom it can help.

    So, what can someone who is granted the status of additional protection in Belarus get?

    - obtaining a certificate of additional protection;

    - a temporary residence permit in the country for the period for which you have been granted protection;

    - living in places of temporary settlement (if it is not possible to settle independently in the territory of the Republic of Belarus) for the period that you have been granted protection, but not more than 1 year. It should be borne in mind that it will be possible to settle in such institutions only if there are free places there.;

    - the right to receive medical care on an equal basis with Belarusians;

    - voluntary return to the country of your citizenship;

    - the right to leave for permanent residence in another state;

    - the right to family reunification;

    - The right to apply to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees;

    - judicial protection on an equal basis with citizens of the Republic of Belarus;

    - receiving financial assistance in the manner and amounts determined by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus;

    - you will also be able to enjoy other rights granted to foreigners who have temporary residence in Belarus, unless otherwise specified by legislative acts of the Republic of Belarus and international treaties of the Republic of Belarus. For example, those who have not yet reached the age of 18 will have the right to study in schools and secondary specialized educational institutions, as well as medical care on an equal basis with minor citizens of the Republic of Belarus.

    Will medical care be provided to Ukrainians for a fee or free of charge if they have applied for additional protection in Belarus?

    Ukrainians who ask for additional protection have the right to free emergency medical care in state medical institutions. medical institutions, but planned medical care for them will be provided on a fee basis.
