For obtaining a work visa in Turkey, the following documents must be submitted:
- Passport and its copy;
- Visa application form;
- Recent passport-sized photographs;
- Proof of employment from the Turkish company;
- Medical insurance certificate;
- Criminal record certificate;
- Other documents required by the Turkish authorities.
It's no secret that even nowadays some citizens go to work abroad. Increasingly, Turkey is becoming one of the countries for job search. To avoid misunderstandings, study the issue of employment in the country you are going to in advance. Below we provide information that will tell you more about this procedure.
The stages of official employment in Turkey are as follows:
- having an employer willing to hire a foreign worker,
- signing an employment contract with the employer,
- obtaining a work permit,
- obtaining a work visa,
- immigrating to Turkey and obtaining a residence permit.

In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Turkey, Belarusians living outside the Republic of Turkey can apply for a work permit at the representative office of the Republic of Turkey in their country. The representative office directly sends applications to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection in Turkey.
Also, the employer submits the following documents to the Turkish Ministry of Labor (we provide a general list of documents, find out a more accurate list of documents at the place of appeal):
- an application for a work permit (filled out and printed);
- the company's tax report for the year;
- an extract from the company's Commercial Register;
- passport details of the potential employee, as well as (if necessary) a diploma and certificate translated into Turkish and notarized.
The Ministry reviews applications and issues (or denies) a work permit. This permit is necessary to obtain a residence permit and a work visa.
Documents required for submission to the embassy (we provide a general list of documents, check the exact list of documents at the place of application):
- employment contract – in Russian and Turkish (originals),
- employer's application for opening a work visa,
- certificate of no criminal record,
- if necessary, a diploma or certificate with apostille and notarized translation,
- photographs,
- completed application form.
