Where can I put an apostille on a document?
An apostille is confirmation of the legality of a document. If a document is issued in Belarus and needs to be presented in another country, it will have legal force only after undergoing this procedure. Let's look at where in Belarus you can get this stamp.

Most often, an apostille is required to confirm an education diploma, birth certificate, and documents received from a notary — for example, wills. Apostille as a method of legalization is suitable for countries that have joined the Hague Convention of 1961 (130 countries). If the country in which you will submit this document is not on the list, consular legalization of documents will be required. The apostille on the document is affixed in the country in which the document was issued.
So, where in Belarus can you get an apostille?
• At the Main Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Minsk, K. Marx St., 37a) — check the list of documents on which you can affix an apostille on the website or by phone.
The apostille is affixed to the original document. If a copy is used, then first the copy of the document is certified by a notary, the authenticity of the notary's signature is certified by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus, and after that it is legalized by the Main Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
• At the Ministry of Education (Minsk, Kozlova St., 28) — for educational documentation.
• At the Main Directorate of Justice of the Minsk City Executive Committee and other regional executive committees that are authorized to affix apostilles on documents from their courts, notarial archives, and from notaries (you can find a list of addresses
here)
• At the Department of Archives and Record Keeping of the Ministry of Justice (Minsk, Kollektornaya St., 10) — for documents from subordinate state archives.
Important! Affixing an apostille is a paid procedure. The cost of legalizing an official document is five base units. The fee must be paid on the day of submitting the documents.
Plan to submit documents in the first half of the day, as you will need to not only submit the documents but also pay the fee. Documents with an apostille are usually ready on the day of submission or the next working day. Specify the exact readiness time when submitting — it may depend on the workload of the department.
