Can Belarusians make an appointment for a US visa in Poland?

We are answering the question about registration for a visa at the US Embassy in Poland.

Applicants who are not Polish citizens can make an appointment for an interview at the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw or the U.S. Consulate General in Krakow, even if they do not reside in Poland. The recording is done online: https://cgifederal.secure .force.com/?country=Poland&language=Russian or through the contact center. The Visa Application Center operators speak English, Polish and Russian. Visa interviews are conducted in English or Polish in Warsaw and Krakow, and only in Warsaw in Russian. There are two types of interview appointment categories: "regular" and "non-resident". It is recommended that you follow the information provided when choosing an appointment for an interview: for interviews for a B1/B2 visa, an applicant who is not a citizen or resident of Poland must choose the “non-resident” category.

Please note that in order to register for an interview, applicants must first pay the Visa Fee (MRV) following the instructions on this web page. Third parties can make the payment, but the payment must be made in the name of the applicant. You can find additional information on the website of the US Embassy in Poland by clicking on the link.

If the visa application is approved, the visa is issued in 1-2 days, and the passport is kept at the consulate all this time. After your visa is printed, you can get your passport at one of the courier service offices, as passports are not issued at the embassy or consulate.

Currently, signing up for a visa to the United States abroad is another quest. The upcoming interview dates at the U.S. Embassy abroad can be viewed here.

We remind you that the US embassies in Ukraine, Belarus and Russia currently do not issue visas.

We advise those who are trying to make an appointment at the US Embassy in different countries of the world to clearly find out whether they issue visas to non-residents in that country. Because you can make an appointment, even pay the visa fee, but at the interview they will refuse to issue you a visa, as they do not serve non-residents. Therefore, before applying for a visa, you need to visit the consulate's website and familiarize yourself with the conditions for submitting a visa application.
