Trip to Belarus to get a Covid-19 vaccine
The situation with crossing borders (including the Belarusian border) is still complicated. However, in some cases, it is possible to visit Belarus even without a visa. This opportunity is available to those who want to get the COVID-19 vaccine. This service has been available in the country on a paid basis since July 15. We explain how to register for the procedure and what documents are needed to cross the border.
From July 15, 2021, to December 31, 2022, Belarus provides a paid vaccination service for foreigners. In connection with this, a visa-free entry procedure has been established — it is fixed in Presidential Decree No. 251 of July 1, 2021.

According to this decree, the opportunity to visit Belarus visa-free is provided to citizens of 73 states. Their list can be viewed
here, opening the item "List of states for whose citizens a visa-free entry and exit procedure is established" If you are a citizen of any country from the list above, you can plan a visa-free entry into the Republic of Belarus to receive the vaccine. Entry is possible
NO EARLIER than two days before the date of vaccination and
no later than the specified date of vaccination. The period of visa-free visit to the Republic of Belarus is
no more than 5 days from the date of entry.
How to register for the vaccine?
To come to Belarus for vaccination against coronavirus (for both the first and second doses of the vaccine), a foreigner who plans to come and get vaccinated must leave a request on the website of the
Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus and receive electronic confirmation with the date, time, and place of vaccination. The Ministry of Health of Belarus has determined a list of healthcare organizations for vaccination in all regions of the country, so the city that a foreign citizen wants to visit can be chosen already at the stage of filling out the online application.
Vaccination is carried out in two stages with an interval of at least 21 days and no more than 90 days. Registration for the second stage is also carried out on our portal.
The cost of the two stages of vaccination: Gam-COVID-Vac (Sputnik V) – 140 Belarusian rubles; COVID-19 Vaccine (Vero Cell) Inactivated – 250 Belarusian rubles. A one-time 100% payment is made before the first stage of vaccination.
What documents are needed to come to Belarus to receive the vaccine?
A foreigner will need to have (prepare) the following documents:
- valid documents for traveling abroad,
- an original or copy of a medical document (PCR test) with a negative result, performed no later than three days before the date of crossing the border.
We inform you that vaccination of foreign citizens is carried out using the combined vector vaccine for the prevention of COVID-19 "Gam-COVID-Vac", in compliance with all epidemiological safety measures.
Permission to administer the vaccine is issued by a doctor after an interview, examination, analysis of medical documents (if any), taking into account the indications and contraindications to the vaccine. Therefore, if you have documents that you would like to give to the doctor for review, take them with you and take care of translation into Russian/Belarusian (if necessary). After vaccination-1 and vaccination-2, a certificate will be issued, the form of which is approved by Order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus dated April 26, 2021 No. 446 "On Amending the Order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus dated April 16, 2021 No. 412".
We urge you to follow all safety measures during any trips. Take care of yourself and your loved ones!
