Traveling this summer: where, when, and under what conditions?

Summer is the period of vacations and vacations. Many Belarusians plan their holidays in advance and look closely at the countries they would like to visit. That was always the case until this year. Today it is extremely difficult to plan your vacation in advance. News about the countries ready to host Belarusians is fickle. You have to be in some good shape. Many people refuse to travel. Others don't break traditions. If you belong to the latter, then this article is for you.

    Ukraine

Despite the fact that Ukraine has opened its borders since June 15, it will not be possible to relax at sea immediately. You will have to observe a two-week quarantine in observation or self-isolation. The National Police and the National Guard ensure the transportation of people to the observatories and the protection of their safety and order along the outer perimeter of the observatory site. For self–isolation, it is necessary to have housing - a hotel, a rented apartment, etc. You can also install the Diy Home app on your phone. Specify the location of the location and, upon request, send selfies with geolocation. Failing to comply with this requirement, tourists face fines ranging from $630 to $1,270. Persons who have consented to self-isolation using the "Act at Home" electronic service are not subject to surveillance when crossing the state border.

The availability of a certificate with a negative result of a coronavirus test in Belarus (PCR studies performed no later than two days before the border crossing date) will not affect the need to undergo a 14-day quarantine in Ukraine.

Belarusians will also have to carry an insurance policy to enter Ukraine, which should cover treatment in case of COVID-19 and observation. The policy can be either in electronic form or in paper form.

It would not be superfluous to remind that upon returning home from Ukraine, Belarusians will also need to be in self-isolation for 14 days.

The Brest travel agency also informed that it is possible to plan a trip to Albania. Since June 12, charter flights have been launched to this country twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Flights to Turkey, Egypt, Greece and Tunisia will resume in July (the first charter from Belarus to Tunisia is scheduled to depart at the end of this month).

Starting from July, you can also plan trips to Georgia and tours to Montenegro.

    Türkiye

Those arriving in Turkey will be tested, but not everyone. Testing will only apply to those tourists whose temperature shows above 38 degrees. The so-called "mitigating scheme" does not require pre-obtained certificates for the absence of coronavirus.

    UAE

The United Arab Emirates will open in July. For entry into the country, tourists will need a PCR test with a validity period of 96 hours, according to the Republican Union of Travel Organizations.

If a tourist does not have a ready test with them, it can be done directly at Dubai Airport (this point must be monitored independently, as further changes may occur).

Upon arrival, all tourists' temperatures will be measured. COVID-positive tourists will be required to isolate themselves in a facility provided by the Dubai government. The isolation period is 14 days. The tourist will have to pay for their stay in such a special facility.

    IMPORTANT:

As a rule, to enter another country, you need to take a paid COVID-19 test. Many countries require proof of the absence of infection. Such a test can be done at the Republican and regional centers for hygiene, epidemiology, and public health. Its cost is about 41.38 Belarusian rubles for Belarusian citizens and 56.63 Belarusian rubles for foreigners. The test analysis document is issued in English and Russian.

Despite the fact that vacation implies relaxation, the situation in general does not allow for relaxation. Therefore, maintaining distance, hygiene, masks, and antiseptics are still relevant no matter where in the world you are.
