To those who are going to work in Poland, the following documents are required:

In Belarus, restrictions on land border crossings are still in effect, but many people still commute to work in Poland. In today's article, we will look at what requirements the Polish side imposes for crossing the border for work purposes.

The Polish border service is called Straż Graniczna. They are responsible for checking the documents and personal belongings of labor migrants, as well as ensuring compliance with all requirements for entering Poland.

Conditions that Straż Graniczna imposes on labor migrants:

    - Passport requirements. The Polish border service must check your passport and its validity period. The passport must be valid for at least three months after you leave Poland.

    - National visa. A foreigner going to work must have a national visa type D, and Straż Graniczna must check its validity period. Also, a work permit and an employment contract.

    - Insurance policy. Straż Graniczna must check the presence of an insurance policy that will be valid throughout your stay in Poland.

    - Sufficient funds. Straż Graniczna must check whether the labor migrant has sufficient funds for their stay in Poland.

Important! Including for employed citizens, restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic are in place. Information about current rules and requirements for PCR tests when entering Poland during the pandemic from outside the Schengen area can be found at the following link: https://www.strazgraniczna.pl/pl/cudzoziemcy/covid-epidemia-koronawi/8587,file.html
