Will Israel's new electronic entry permits be required for Belarusians?
What do Belarusians need to come to Israel at the moment?
Currently, there is a visa-free regime between Israel and Belarus. Belarusians can stay in Israel for up to 90 days within a period of 6 months without interruption.
What will change?
In 2024, Israel
plans to introduce ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) — electronic travel authorizations. They will be valid for many countries in Europe, America, Asia, Africa, and Oceania (that is, for all countries whose citizens do not need a visa to enter Israel). Belarus is on this list.

The exact dates when these authorizations will come into effect are not yet known. However, it is certain that they will not replace a visa: obtaining such authorizations will be much simpler, faster, and cheaper.
How to obtain travel authorization?
1. Fill out the online form: provide passport details, your contact information, any criminal record, employment, health status, and your income.
2. Pay the fee.
3. Wait for confirmation of your application. It will come to the email address you provided.
4. Receive approval of your application. Processing will take about 3 days (but may take up to a week).
Therefore, you will need a valid passport, a credit or debit card to pay the fee, an email address, and a stable internet connection.
ETA will be valid for up to two years; after this period, you will need to apply for it again. You can still come to Israel under this authorization for a maximum of 90 days.
Do children need to apply for ETA?
Yes, entry permits are issued to all foreigners, without exception, both infants and pensioners.
Can my entry permit be rejected?
Yes, for example, if you entered incorrect/incomplete information, missed answers to some questions, you have serious criminal records, or in the past you violated the terms of stay of foreigners in Israel.
Is ETA a guarantee that I will be allowed into Israel?
No. Just as before, for some reason you may be deployed at passport control and not allowed to enter the country.
Is it dangerous to visit Islamic countries of the Middle East (for example, Iran, Lebanon and others) after entering Israel on an ETA?
In theory— no. The ETA is an electronic document, and your passport will not be marked using the ETA to visit Israel.
