How to apply for a visa to Poland and where to get up-to-date information about the issuance of Polish visas

Difficulties with visa procedures have been arising very frequently lately. And this applies not only to our Western neighbors, but also to other countries that have introduced restrictive measures to combat the spread of COVID-19 infection. But since a Polish visa is still the most popular for Belarusians, let's figure out where you can go now to register a visa application and go through the procedure for obtaining visa documents.

Since June 1, 2020, the call center lines +375173881337 and +375173880246 have resumed providing consultations on the process of submitting and tracking the status of documents.

Now you can submit documents to the Polish Visa Centers by appointment. To do this, you need to register in the online pre-registration system on the website. Please note that scheduling an appointment to submit documents for a Polish visa by phone has been suspended.

Spots for scheduling an appointment to submit documents are provided every week on Thursdays. You need to book your spot quickly, as they are quickly taken.

So, if you want to register to submit documents for a Polish visa:

    1. Decide which type of visa you can apply for. Please note that only certain groups of citizens can apply for a Polish visa.

    2. Go to the site and register if you do not have an account on the visa center website.

    3. After logging into your account, a window will appear where you need to select the «Make an appointment» option.

You need to make an appointment in accordance with the purpose you have set for yourself. You will need to select the appropriate menu on the visa center website https://online.vfsglobal.com/Global-Appointment/Account/RegisteredLogin. If your goal, for example, is employment, then when registering you must select «National visa type D–work».

The availability of places can be periodically checked in the online booking system. There may not be any spots available for the near future, but you will see what dates are available for the nearest appointment. You can find more information in the «How to Apply for a Visa» section.

You can also contact the visa centers for additional information by email:

Please note that it is possible to submit documents for a national visa type D in all consular jurisdictions of the Polish diplomatic mission by courier service. More details about this can be found here.

Since June 14, a decree of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland has come into force, according to which Belarusians will be able to use a new procedure for obtaining visas. From this date, not only consuls in Belarus, but also employees of a special department at the Polish Foreign Ministry will be handling applications for visas from Belarusian citizens and making decisions on their issuance.
